At a mens retreat years ago, I heard a phrase that changed my life and caused me to examine just how committed I was to sharing Jesus Christ with those in my path. Mike Breaux, our guest speaker, said this: "If you're not standing on the edge for Christ, you're taking up too much space." After hearing this, its as if God poured gasoline on a bonfire. From that day forward, risk taking for Jesus enveloped my life, fueling my desire to seek creative and unique ways to share God's love.
LifeLine Ministries of NKY was birthed to be our bonfire of outreach in December of 2004. Seven years later, we're still pouring gas on the fire. We've been blessed to minister to just more than 8,000 families and individuals at the ministry center in Elsmere, Ky by providing groceries, clothing, furniture, household items and baby related items as a means to show the love of Jesus Christ. With the current economic downturn, the need is greater than ever before. Prior to opening the ministry center three years ago, the ministry had packed and distributed 25,000 gift baskets throughout Northern Kentucky. We never could have imagined God giving us the honor of serving 33,000 + families in the past 6 years. Only God!
In addition to serving, I am a grateful husband to my patient, loving wife, Eleni (We met 28 years ago and have been married 22 years!) and a proud father of Steven and Alexis. Steven is a Junior in college, works in the banking industry and is recently engaged to the love of his life, Kristin. Alexis is a Junior in High School and extremely involved in Speech & Drama and the tennis team.
I am blessed to work for a local community bank, where I manage a branch office and have spent the past 15years of my working life. I am very thankful to work for such a family oriented, Christ-centered institution.
In the hobby arena, I am a baseball junky. The Reds are my first love, but the New York Yankees are a close second (make that the 27 time World Series Champion Yankees!!). The Baylor Bears are definitely my favorite college football team (our old alma mater!) Addicted to UK Basketball since childhood (Go Big Blue!) I LOVE hanging out with my family, especially vacationing together and exploring new locales.
My favorite scripture verse is found in Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord. Plans to prosper you, not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." God has not failed to make good on his promises to me every day of my life. Please pray that I stay faithful to him and his calling for my life as the ministry seeks to provide the line to eternal life through Jesus Christ....LifeLine Ministries of NKY.

I do my very best to keep up with and invest my life in Chris' ministry work while teaching full time and being the best mother I can be. I have been teaching English as a second language to children from foreign countries as far away as Japan, Mexico and The Congo to name just a few. I dearly love my students and the satisfaction I'm blessed to feel when I see the light click and the learning take place. Chris often tells me that my teaching is a ministry in itself. I totally agree. I came to the U.S. from Athens, Greece 27 years ago as an exchange student myself, so I relate well to my students and their cultural struggles.
Steven & Alexis are my pride & joy. They are both such a priceless blessing from God. Chris is the love of my life and my best friend. Chris and I have found that our love and appreciation for each other grows deeper and sweeter as the years go by. A marriage centered in Christ is definitely the only way!
In the rare instance that I have free time, I enjoy scrapbooking, photography, being with my family, hanging out with friends and being near the ocean/sea whenever possible. Chris also says that I cook "wicked" Greek food when I have time.
Lastly, pray for our strength and resolve to serve others for Christ every day of our lives. Our goal as a couple and a ministry is to make Christ known to as many people as possible in our brief time on this earth! May God richly bless our efforts.
