St. Luke West Hospital
Lifeline Ministries of Northern Kentucky |
Since March 2005, LifeLine Ministries has been engaging Christian volunteers to minister to patients and their families at St. Luke West in Florence, KY by delivering care baskets to families in ICU and general waiting and by delivering care bags to patients throughout the hospital.
Our LifeLine volunteers ministering at the hospital have all been formally trained by Rev. Karen Graziani, Chaplaincy Head, and are an integral piece of the entire St. Luke Ministerial staff.
The opportunities to serve at the hospital are many. Ranging from scheduled rounds on specific days of the week visiting patients to visiting families in the waiting room or even being a part of the crisis team supporting families in the emergency room.
You can ask any of our volunteers and they will quickly tell you that they never leave the hospital without feeling the very presence of God in their midst whether building into the lives of families, patients or both. They'd also tell you that serving at the hospital is one of the most rewarding things they've done in their lives and I'd agree! For many that we visit, we are the only Jesus they may ever see.
If you would like to learn more about becoming part of our chaplaincy team, please contact me by email at Chris@lifelineofnky.org or by phone at 859-653-7446 and I would be more than happy to answer any questions you may have.
